Terms and Conditions for Booking Appointments with Erica (Ericat Tattoo)
*1. Booking Fee:*
- A non-refundable booking fee of £50 to £100 (depending on length of appointment) is required to secure your appointment. This fee ensures your spot and is deducted from the total cost of your tattoo.
- The booking fee must be paid within 72 hours of the agreed-upon appointment date. Failure to pay the booking fee within this time frame will result in the release of your slot to another client.
*2. Payment and Pricing:*
- The total cost of the tattoo will be determined based on factors such as design complexity, size, and placement.
- The remaining balance, after deducting the booking fee, is payable on the day of your appointment. Accepted payment methods include cash, bank transfer or Paypal (provided it is done Family and Friends)
- My prices are subject to change over time as I gain experience and and your quoted price will be confirmed prior to your appointment over email.

I am currently a Junior Artist at Semper Tattoo and I charge by piece. Your quote will be given based on your design concept. I do not charge more than I have quoted even if it takes me longer. If the tattoo took significantly less time than I anticipated, I would charge you less than the quoted amount.

To give you an idea of my rates: £80 per hour, £250 half day and £400 day rate.
*3. Design and Consultation:*
- I do offer free design consultations, in the event of a complex tattoo, scar cover ups, first tattoos, or if you are nervous. You can email me to request this.
Consultations are to understand ideas, discuss possibilities, placement, meet me and ask any questions you may have about the process if you are new to tattooing. Once we have discussed and finalised the idea, I will email you with details of offered appointment and the deposit information.
If you require significant design changes after the consultation, additional charges will apply.
I do not send designs in advance of appointments, there is adequate time to make small changes if you need to on the day, it is always better to discuss this in person.
*4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:*
- *Cancellation:* If you need to cancel your appointment, please notify me at least 72 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in the loss of your booking fee.
- *Rescheduling:* You may reschedule your appointment up to 72 before the scheduled time without losing your booking fee. Only one reschedule is permitted; subsequent rescheduling will require a new booking fee.
- *No-shows:* Failure to attend your appointment without prior notice will result in the forfeiture of your booking fee and I will not book you again.
*5. Non-Refundable Booking Fee:*
- The booking fee is not refundable under any circumstances, including cancellations, no-shows, or rescheduling outside the allowed time frame.
- In the unlikely event that I need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, your booking fee will either be transferred to the new appointment or refunded at your discretion.
*6. Health and Safety:*
- You must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or skin sensitivities before your appointment. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of the appointment without refund.
- Please arrive at your appointment in good health, well-rested, and hydrated. If you arrive visibly unwell, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the appointment will be canceled, and the booking fee will be forfeited.
- I adhere to strict hygiene standards. If you experience any signs of infection or complications after your tattoo, please contact me immediately for advice. I am not a medical professional however but I will advise you as best I can in each individual circumstance.
*7. Age and Identification:*
- Clients must be 18 years old to book a tattoo appointment. Proof of age will be required on the day of your appointment.
- No minors are allowed in the tattoo studio during your appointment.

You may have one friend with you at the appointment if you wish, please inform me in advance if you wish to have someone with you. No more than 1 extra person will be allowed in the studio, due to space and it is distracting for all in the studio.
*8. Appointment Timeliness:*
- Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals of more than 15 minutes may result in a reduced session time or cancellation of the appointment, with the booking fee forfeited.

*9. Design and Artistic Discretion:*
- I reserve the right to refuse or modify a design if it is deemed technically unfeasible, inappropriate, offensive. If this is the case, I would communicate it to you in email. If the design would be too small at the appointment, I will suggest alternative sizing and modification to age well and retain the right to refusal of the piece if you don’t compromise with the suggestions, which are rooted in technical knowledge and experience. I also look to my colleagues for their expertise and knowledge in this regard. Please listen to us, we are advising on the basis of knowledge and experience.
- All designs are the intellectual property of myself, Ericat Tattoo and may not be traced, stolen, used without expressed permission.
*10. Touch-ups:*
- Minor touch-ups are free of charge within 6 months of the original appointment, provided proper aftercare was followed.
- Touch-ups after this period or for tattoos not cared for according to aftercare instructions will incur additional charges.
*11. Liability:*
- I am not responsible for any adverse reactions, including infections, allergic reactions, or other complications resulting from the tattoo, provided that all aftercare instructions were followed. Should this occur, please contact me for advice.
*12. Privacy:*
- Your personal information will be kept confidential and will only be used for the purposes of scheduling and communication regarding your tattoo appointment.
*13. Amendments to Terms and Conditions:*
- I, Erica reserve the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes before their appointment.
